Help about bar chords in the guitar?

I started playing the guitar about 2 months ago and I took guitar lessons but I'm having a little trouble with barre chords. I don't really have a problem in making a barre chord sound good. I just don't know how to change barre chords quickly because before I strum them on songs I first make sure that my fingers are positioned well and correctly so that it'll sound good. I can usually position my index finger and middle finger quickly, but it seems like my ring finger and my pinky finger is always late. I hate those two fingers. I don't have much problem in using the normal chords and plucking, but when I see barre chords in a song, it's like I don't wanna play it anymore because I know I can't catch up with the timing. So I'd just like to ask some tips on how to play barre chords quickly in a song. Like, changing from a normal chord to a barre chord. Thanks in advance!
