What is the meaning of the "7 Day Theory"?

Tupac's last album was titled "The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory". There have been a lot of arguments that the "seven day theory" is Tupac alluding to his supposed death (he died seven days after he was shot). I'm pretty convinced that Tupac is dead, so I don't really accept this interpretation because its part of the Tupac-faked-his-death conspiracy. Can anyone offer an reasonable interpretation that doesn't involve Tupac knowing about his death?
